Chapter 83 The Seven Dwarfs
Chapter 83 The Seven Dwarfs
In a dark corner, Tuo and Guan were secretly plotting some schemes.
Guan said with a look of utter delight, "Those beauties are truly as beautiful as celestial beings! [Troll]."
Tuo nodded in agreement, but then frowned and said, "It's a pity that those annoying ministers always come to spoil our enjoyment."
Guan suggested, "Why don't we just disable them all?"
To shook his head and said, "It's not the right time yet. If we dismiss a large number of officials in a short period of time, the angry people may rise up and overthrow our rule."
Guan said anxiously, "What should we do? If we do, we won't be able to enjoy this wonderful life. Tuo, please think of a solution! I absolutely cannot lose everything I have now."
Tuo comforted him, "Calm down, Guan. We must complete the mission assigned to us by our superiors as soon as possible—to eliminate Prince Spartz. Only in this way can we continue our disguise. We must act quickly, otherwise once the magic wears off, our true identities will be revealed."
Guan asked anxiously, "So what should we do?"
After a moment's thought, To replied, "We need to find a powerful knight to help us defeat Prince Spartz."
Guan: "You know the right person?"
Tuo: "Yes, I manage it."
Then he called out, "Come in, my lord."
Guan stared wide-eyed at the person who walked in through the door, unable to believe that it was Kaiya.
To: "I believe you can complete this task, Kaya. The king has promised you that if you succeed, he will directly bestow upon you the title of Paladin."
Kaya looked excited and exclaimed, "Really? Your Majesty?"
Tuo winked at Guan, who quickly replied, "Yes, Kaiya."
To: "Kaiya, you've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time."
Kaeya: "Yes, I became a knight at thirteen, a chief knight at twenty-four, and a master knight at thirty-seven. But you should know that I lost my chance to be elected a paladin at forty, so I must complete this task no matter what."
Guan picked up a famous sword beside him, slowly stood up, and then walked steadily down from his throne, stopping in front of Kaiya and handing him the sword.
"Kaiya, this is a sword that only paladins can wield, symbolizing honor and responsibility. Today, I bestow it upon you, hoping you will use it to complete your mission."
Kaiya's eyes gleamed with excitement and surprise. "Really?! Your Majesty?!" He was so excited he could hardly contain himself.
Guan smiled and nodded. "Of course."
Kaiya carefully took the sword as if it were a priceless treasure, examining the blade closely and feeling its heavy weight.
He gripped the sword hilt tightly and bowed deeply to the king, saying, "Thank you, Your Majesty."
Tuo and Guan exchanged a knowing smile, each harboring their own ulterior motives.
Night fell, and the entire kingdom was shrouded in darkness.
Eric arrived early outside the prince's palace and waited quietly.
Suddenly, a dark figure flashed by and appeared in front of him in an instant. Eric looked closely and saw that it was Spitz.
Eric bowed respectfully, "Your Highness."
Sporz looked at the man in front of her in surprise, a hint of astonishment flashing in her eyes, "Eric?"
Eric raised his head and answered firmly, "Yes, Your Majesty."
He looked at Spoelstra with mixed feelings, silently thinking: It's been a long time, Your Highness.
When Spartz was young, Eric was the late queen's personal knight. Eric and the late queen grew up together and were childhood sweethearts.
However, ever since the incident involving the late king and queen, that brave, handsome, tall, and mighty knight has become a decadent and useless person.
When the late king and queen met their end, Spoelstra was only five years old. He had no memory of Eric. In his memory, Eric was always a mad servant in the knight training ground.
Eric: "I have been to the Enchanted Forest before, Your Highness. Let me guide you."
Spitz: "You've actually been to the Enchanted Forest?"
Eric: "The Enchanted Forest was once part of our land, but it was later taken over by evil magic. I have been searching for the source of the magic for many years."
During the conversation, a figure suddenly attacked. He was masked and held a sharp sword in his hand.
Kaiya lowered his voice and threatened, "Oh, Your Highness, shouldn't you be locked in the side hall? How did you get out?"
Spoelstra: "Who are you?"
Kaeya: "I was sent by the Queen to kill you."
Spitz and Eric exchanged a glance, and Spitz curled his lips into a cold smile. "It's ridiculous."
Kaiya continued in a low, cold voice, "Whether you believe it or not, I'm going to take your heart to report to the Queen!"
At this moment, Eric could no longer contain his anger. He rushed out, quickly drew his sword, and swung it at Kaya with fierce momentum.
Kaiya showed no fear. He gripped the paladin's sword tightly and charged forward without hesitation.
Eric immediately recognized the paladin's sword and exclaimed, "It's a paladin's sword! Who are you?"
Kaiya snorted coldly, a sly and determined glint in his eyes: "Hmph, you'll never find out."
In an instant, swords flashed and shadows danced, and the two engaged in a fierce battle.
After a fierce battle, Eric, with superior skills, seized the opportunity and swung his weapon forcefully, knocking it to the ground.
Eric held a longsword, its tip pointing at Kaeya. His eyes were full of confidence and authority, and his tone left no room for doubt: "You are Kaeya."
His voice was like a pronouncement, leaving no room for doubt in his judgment.
Eric remembered everything about the habits of the person he fought, and that was Kaia.
Kaia roared, revealing his true voice, "I remember you, you are Eric."
Eric: "Now that you have betrayed the Kingdom of Sotoa, and now you want to assassinate Prince Sipoz, I will not spare you."
Spitz: "Perhaps his skin is more useful."
Eric: "The prince is trying to say..."
Spoelstra: "You wear this skin to fulfill your duty to his master."
Eric: "Yes, Your Highness, it's wonderful that you have such an amazing idea."
Upon hearing their words, Kaiya trembled violently. He immediately admitted his mistake: "I was blinded by desire, Your Highness. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me."
Spoelstra: "Spare you? But you've slandered someone you shouldn't have, and you're no longer of any value to me. How could I possibly spare you?"
At Spoelstra's command, Kaia was stabbed to death with a final, mournful cry.
Eric simply peeled off his skin while he was still alive and put it on his own body.
Eric: "Then, Your Highness, I'll go report back."
Spitz: "Eric, you should know who his master is?"
Eric: "Of course I know. He has only ever served one person."
Spitz: "The King?"
Eric: "No, Your Highness, it's power."
Eric, wrapped in the human skin, carefully made his way towards the king's bedroom.
When he reached the door, the guards saluted and let him in.
The king was anxiously waiting in his palace. When he saw the returning "Kaiya", his face showed surprise and confusion.
"Kaiya, why are you back?" the king asked.
"Kaiya" held a sealed iron box in both hands and replied in a deliberately calm voice, "Your Majesty, I have prepared what you requested."
The king's eyes widened, and he asked expectantly, "Ready? Is it true, Kaya?"
To, who was standing to the side, suddenly changed his expression and asked incredulously, "What did you say? You've already retrieved the prince's heart?"
"Kaiya" replied with a smile, "Of course, Your Majesty, I am a paladin."
Eric is now quite certain that the two of them were the ones who plotted to murder the prince.
The king was so excited he could hardly contain himself. He exclaimed, "Bring it here quickly, I want to take a good look at it!"
"Kaiya" handed the wooden box to To, whose hands trembled as he accepted it and slowly walked toward the king. The king was eager to see the precious heart with his own eyes.
When To opened the wooden box, a bright red heart was revealed inside. The king was so excited that he almost jumped up. "It really is a heart! You really killed the prince!"
King: "Very well, I will personally bestow upon you the title of Holy Knight Kaia in three days."
"Kaiya": "Thank you, Your Majesty."
However, they failed to notice that the so-called "prince's heart" was actually just an ordinary pig's heart.
At this moment, Snow White found the Enchanted Forest through the map in the magic mirror.
In this mysterious, magical forest, sunlight filters through the dense foliage, creating dappled patterns of light and shadow.
The air was filled with a rich magical atmosphere, making one feel as if they were in a fantasy world.
The trees are tall and ancient, their trunks twisted as if telling the story of time.
The branches were laden with all sorts of strange fruits and flowers, some shimmering with a mysterious light, others emitting an alluring fragrance.
There are also many clear streams and waterfalls in the forest, with the water flowing gently and making a crisp sound.
The sky and trees are reflected in the water, like a mirror, reflecting the entire forest.
Deep within the magical forest live all sorts of magical creatures, including elves, unicorns, dwarves, and giants.
Each of them possesses unique magical abilities and cultures, together forming this magical world.
Elves are symbols of diligence and courage; they can fly freely in the air and create beautiful flowers and fruits.
Unicorns possess magical healing abilities; their horns can cure diseases and injuries.
Dwarves are skilled in using magic, often using it to mine rare ores and craft weapons.
Giants are powerful and majestic beings; they can destroy all obstacles with their immense strength.
However, the number of giants is extremely small. Most of them live in harmony with the land, sleeping soundly in their dreams, and no one can disturb them unless they wake up on their own.
Prince Spartz inquired everywhere.
"Hello," he said to a little elf who was collecting flowers.
The little elf's wings were brightly colored, each one as thin as a cicada's wing, and its eyes were large and bright, filled with curiosity.
"Oh, beautiful person, who are you?" the little elf asked in confusion.
Sipoz smiled and replied gently, "I am a prince of the Kingdom of Sotoa, and I am looking for a dwarf who can use magic."
The elf opened his mouth wide in surprise, then shook his head and said, "What? Dwarves? Oh, dear prince, why are you looking for them? Dwarves are extremely dangerous beings; they're in cahoots with the witches who catch elves."
"What are you saying, lovely elf?" Suddenly, a sharp, bright voice rang out.
Elf: "Oh my god, it's the voice of a dwarf."
The little elves flapped their wings rapidly, and as they soared into the sky, the surrounding air swirled, leaving behind a series of piercing cries.
In an instant, all the little sprites around disappeared.
Spitz: "Dwarfs? Where are they?"
He looked down and saw seven dwarfs of different colors appear before him.
The dwarfs were dressed in miners' clothes, their faces blackened as if they had just come out of a coal mine. They were short, only as tall as Spitz's knees, but they appeared very agile and nimble.
Spoelstra's face immediately darkened. Looking at their dirty appearance, Spoelstra couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust.
He silently thought to himself, "Uh, please keep your distance from me."
They are all different in size and personality, and their names are Happy Fruit, Shy Ghost, Easily Angered, Clumsy Egg, Clever Baby, Sleepyhead, and Sneezing Monster.
Pistachio generously replied, "Oh, Your Highness, what brings you here?"
Spitz: "I want to possess powerful magic."
He was easily enraged and flew into a rage: "You want magic? Why did you trespass here? Don't you know that humans are not allowed to set foot in the magic forest?!"
Pistachio: "Alright, easy to anger. He is a noble prince, Your Highness. Please come with us to our low house."
The silly boy asked the clever boy, "Why does Pistachio know he's a prince?"
Clever Baby: "Because he told the elf himself."
Confused fool: "When?"
Clever Baby: "When you're confused."
The simpleton suddenly realized: "Oh."
The sneezing monster, dragging along the still-drowsy sleepyhead, searched everywhere for the shy ghost.
The shy girl was hiding next to a giant mushroom, her face covered by a huge coat.
The sneezing monster: "What are you doing, you shy thing?" Then it sneezed again.
Shy Guy: "Um, sneezing monster, um, I just saw a very handsome person, that... Your Highness."
Sneezing Monster: "Achoo! Quick, help me catch the sleepyhead, His Highness is going to visit someone at my house."
The shy girl said timidly, "But...but I don't dare to look at him."
Sneezing Monster: "Hurry up, Achoo, come back with us."
Shy guy: "Okay..."
We've arrived at the dwarf's house.
It is a small, pointed-roofed cabin nestled in a dense jungle, surrounded by lush, verdant trees.
The entrance is a small wooden door with some small baskets and dried flowers hanging on it. Once inside, you will see a delicate little garden with mining tools on display.
Pistachio: "Come in quickly, Your Highness."
Schubert's vision went black; the environment here was far worse than he had imagined, absolutely terrible.
In the center of the room was a long dining table. There used to be a white cloth on the table, but now it was covered with all sorts of dirty plates and dishes, making it impossible to tell what it was originally like.
He easily snapped, "Why won't you sit down? Do you think our place is dirty?"
He stomped his foot hard on the floor and put his hands on his hips.
Spitz: "Is this your custom, Mr. Dwarf, to stack unwashed plates together?"
Easily angered, she rushed forward, reaching out to grab Spartz by the collar. "You, you, you! What are you saying? You rude prince! We invited you to our home, and this is how you treat us!"
Spoelstra quickly stepped back, staring in horror at the hands that were still not clean.
Pistachio quickly stepped forward to stop Easy-Anger, "Don't be impulsive, that's a prince, that's a prince!"
The easily angered one immediately shook off the pistachio, saying, "So what if he's a prince? We dwarves aren't to be trifled with!"
"I'm sorry, gentlemen of dwarves," Spitz said coldly. "I apologize for my words and I regret my behavior."
He looked around, confirming his surroundings again, and then said, "I don't think I should disturb your lives. Could you tell me where there are other people with magic?"
He simply couldn't stand staying there any longer. The side hall was dirty because it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, but he couldn't handle this kind of man-made filth.
Suddenly, the ground became unstable, and the dwarf's house began to shake.
Pistachio shouted, "It's the elves! They're here to steal our things! Everyone, quick, get to the basement!"
He instantly snapped out of his drowsiness, grabbed the pointed pickaxe from the yard, and jumped into the basement.
Clever Baby and Dumb Egg followed behind and rushed out as well.
The sneezing monster dragged the shy ghost out with him.
Only Shi Bozi remained in the room.
"What happened? I'll go see too."
Before falling into the basement, he carefully wrapped the turquoise gemstone in his pocket, then put on the coat he had prepared beforehand and jumped into the hole.
