Chapter 420 Yu Ru Causes a Scene at Li Shuangshuang's Client

Shan Ci scanned the contents of the computer screen and saw a chat interface, which was clearly not Yu Ru's account.

"Mom, is this Li Shuangshuang's number?"

"Yeah, I cursed all of her clients."

Shan Ci walked to the keyboard, pressed a few keys, and controlled the computer to switch pages, displaying another chat interface on the screen.

The English message sent by that account to the other party, when translated, read: "Goodbye bastard, I don't want to give you this batch of goods anymore, I'm going to sell it to someone else."

The other party was furious about the message: "How could you do this? You have no sense of contractual obligation whatsoever! And you're the most rude person I've ever met!"

Yu Ru controlled the account and replied to the other party: "Bitch, what kind of polite person do you think you are? You keep trying to bargain with me. Actually, I've wanted to curse you for a long time, and I even want to beat you into mincemeat."

Yu Ru sent similar conversations to several people, all of whom were major and mid-range clients that Li Shuangshuang was currently in contact with. Without exception, all of them said they would cancel their orders and never cooperate again. Another was a Muslim client, whom she sent a picture of a slaughtered pig.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha??(???*)" Shan Ci laughed so hard he almost choked.

"Mom, that's hilarious! It's even more fun than stealing money! (??w`? )"

Yu Ru smiled slightly. "Yes, why didn't I think of such a dirty trick before? I was only thinking about other people's money."

On the other side, Li Shuangshuang quickly noticed the anomaly in her account. As usual, she tried to log in to her social media account to check messages, but found she couldn't log in. After a long while and many attempts, she finally managed to log in, only to be met with a deluge of messages from customers abusing her.

After clicking in and seeing the conversation inside, she almost fainted.

"How could this be?" Li Shuangshuang stared at her phone screen in disbelief, repeatedly looking at her conversation with her client, unable to believe that this was her account.

She exited the chat interface and then checked the main account information, going back and forth several times. She had to accept the fact that this was indeed her account. And during the time she couldn't log in, someone had taken control of her account and was communicating with her clients.

Li Shuangshuang slumped to the ground, taking several deep breaths to force herself to calm down. She disregarded the immediate cause of this unexpected situation and quickly identified several important clients, explaining the circumstances to them. However, no matter how she explained, they refused to forgive her. Even when she offered to lower prices and subsidize them out of her own pocket, they remained determined not to cooperate further.

Before she could figure out how to respond, the company called again. She stared intently at the caller ID, hesitant to answer. The call ended automatically, then came back a second time. Her fingers trembled as she finally clicked to answer.

“Li Shuangshuang, what’s wrong with you? The client was all set, we were about to sign the contract, why did you call to cancel? They called to say you were disrespectful and insulted them. How can you do this? Even if you’re unhappy, you can’t vent your frustrations in front of them.”

"No... Sister Zhang... I, please let me explain," Li Shuangshuang said incoherently. "I didn't do any of those things, really."

"Alright!" The other person interrupted her forcefully. "I don't care if it's you or not, you need to find a way to recover the losses. If you can't, you can leave this company. Think it through. Once you close these deals, you'll be a department manager and have access to more resources in the future."

Li Shuangshuang had just been dumped by Zhang Jingxiang, and her mind was already in turmoil and she was in a bad mood. Now, she had also experienced setbacks at work, and for a while, she became dull and speechless. She didn't respond to the person on the other end of the phone, but just stared blankly at the phone screen.

"Li Shuangshuang, did you hear me? Say something!" came the impatient voice from the other end.

Li Shuangshuang swallowed hard, picked up her phone, and continued checking her messages with clients. She read them several times, hoping it was just her imagination. Unfortunately, no matter how many times she closed and opened her eyes, the picture of the slaughtered pig sent to the Muslim client was still there, as was the provocative gesture sent to the squid client. There was no point in trying to retain these two clients; those two pictures were clearly sent to their sore spots, and any explanation would be futile.

There are others... but it seems there's no need to try and keep them.

Li Shuangshuang sat on the ground in a daze for a while, then suddenly thought of something and called Zhang Jingxiang.

He didn't answer the first two calls, but finally picked up on the third.

"Jingxiang, are you free tonight? I'd like to meet with you; there are some things I'd like to ask you."

"Shuangshuang, let's end this. I think our personalities are really incompatible. What you did—breaking the cat's leg and then trying to save it—and bullying classmates at school, I really can't condone that. Let's just leave it at that."

"If you don't come out and meet me, I'll go to your company tomorrow and cause a scene. Let's see if you can afford to lose face like that!" Zhang Jingxiang was silent for a moment, then replied, "Okay."

"I'll send you the time and address later. You'd better be there on time."

Without waiting for a reply, Li Shuangshuang hung up the phone with a blank expression.

Zhang Jingxiang stared at the phone that had been abruptly disconnected, a sense of foreboding rising within him. After much deliberation, he sent a message to Yu Ru, informing her that Li Shuangshuang had made an appointment with him.

Upon receiving his message, Yu Ru immediately replied: Send me the time and address, and I'll go to the appointment for you.

Zhang Jingxiang: Okay.

Shan Ci looked at it and said unhappily, "Mom, why do we have to meet her? You never used to meet with them."

Yu Ru, having taken revenge on so many people, never revealed herself. Unlike those characters in TV dramas who would deliberately walk up to their enemies, laugh loudly, and tell them that she was the one who did it all, she preferred to scheme behind the scenes. Only by keeping her own actions a secret could she ensure her safety.

No matter who you are or what your identity is, you can never truly see the other person for who they are. Who knows, they might turn the tables one day. So, the best way is to completely hide yourself in the background. That way, if the person you're looking to take revenge on does happen to have some good luck and turn the tables, you won't be able to get revenge on them.

“If I don’t meet with her, she’ll go after Zhang Jingxiang. Zhang Jingxiang is a high-ranking official in the Discipline Inspection Commission, and he’s one of my connections. I can’t just stand by and watch him get ruined, so I have to shift my hatred to him.”
